Behind Sync, it's just us
Sync isn't a corporation — it's a young startup with one clear idea: mental training belongs in every sports bag, not just the pro locker room.
Sports psychology for every athlete
In elite sport, mental coaching has long been standard — Olympians have their sports psychology experts, Bundesliga teams their performance coaches. In recreational sport, the topic often gets left behind. Yet that's exactly where the leverage is greatest: with the club athletes, the marathon beginners, the grassroots coaches — people who train their bodies but leave their minds to fend for themselves.
Sync closes that gap. We bring sports psychology methods into an app anyone can use anytime — backed by an AI coach that understands questions, suggests exercises and adapts to your sport. If you need more, you can book a session with sports psychology experts or coaches directly.
"Mental strength shouldn't be a privilege. It's a skill — and skills can be trained."
Three minds, one mission
Moritz studied sports psychology and has worked for years with athletes on mental performance. He's coached pros all the way to Olympic preparation — and along the way kept noticing: what works in one-on-one conversation also works in an app, if you build it right.
Tim runs the technical side — from the app to the AI to the coach dashboard for clubs. His standard: mental training should be as intuitive as a running tracker. You don't need a study, a therapist or any threshold — just your phone.
Erik leads design at Sync — from the app interface to the brand. Before, he co-founded and led Type Studio, a browser-based video editor acquired by Logitech. B.Sc. Interaction Design.
Born from a need, not a business plan
Sync didn't come out of a market analysis — it came out of conversations with athletes who kept saying the same thing: "I know I should work on my head — I just don't know where to start." Sync is built for exactly those people.
Today over 20,000 athletes train with Sync — from club sport to competition level, across more than 50 sports. And we're just getting started.
